All AHS student-athletes guardians must complete the Athletic Clearance process via SportsNet prior to the tryouts of the season for Fall, Winter or Spring

season for every year of play regardless if you are a returning player or not.

Key Dates & SportsNet Access:

• All Athletic Packets from the 2025-2026 school year expire on May 29, 2026.

  Parent Reminder/Instructions: First-time users need the Aragon Student ID number. Returning users log in with their email/password. One account per student. Confirmation is sent via email. Update information (physical, driver form) anytime.

Physical Exam Requirements:

• Access to Physical Forms 

• Validity: Physicals are valid for one year. Unexpired physicals already on file can be used.

• Providers: Must be completed by an MD, DO, PA, or NP.

• Required Info: Form must include Date of Exam, Physician Signature, and Physician Stamp.

• Extensions: A physician's note stating medical clearance through a specific future date (the date of the upcoming physical) may allow a clearance extension in SportsNet.

Medical Insurance:

• State law requires adequate medical insurance for participation.

• SMUHSD Note: The District does not provide medical or dental insurance for student injuries.

  • Optional Medical/Dental Plan: The District offers an optional plan through Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Co., Inc. Enrollment Link. Mid or high option plans are recommended for athletes.
